Danube Sediment project is already at the main current
In January 2017, the international DanubeSediment project was launched. Goal of the project is to improve the sediment management in the Danube River and its tributaries.

The Kick-off event of Drought Risk in the Danube Region (DriDanube) project will take place on 16 March 2017 in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

JOINTISZA Kick-off event
The launching event of the JOINTISZA project aims to introduce its objectives, activities and expected results to the interested parties. Against the backdrop of a pleasant atmosphere, we expect to discuss and exchange views on how the project can further strengthen cooperation among the relevant actors of the river basin management planning process, and on how it can improve the status of the waters in the basin.

The Priority Area 5 of the EUSDR, responsible for managing environmental risks held its 11th Steering Group Meeting in Budapest, Hungary on the 27th of January 2017.
The event was opened by Mr István JOÓ, Hungarian National Coordinator of the EUSDR, also by Mr László DOBI, former Hungarian coordinator of the PA5 and Mr Gheorghe CONSTANTIN, Romanian PAC.
